We are sub-leasing a (furnished) apartment from a professor of communications who, like us, is on sabbatical leave. It's very nice, three bedrooms and 2.5 baths, generously proportioned by European standards. The owners are lovers of contemporary art, so there are several paintings and sculptures around the house. The kids differ in their appraisal of these.
There is a train that enters a tunnel just under our apartment, but it is just a four-car passenger train and doesn't run in the middle of the night, so noise is not a problem.
The outside views are pretty spectacular
